Make the music.
Own all of it.

I've made over $450k from songwriting, helped build two companies, and helped artists go full time and get their music into film and TV. Now I do it with you, and you keep 100% of everything we make.

Listen

Three of my own.

Everything I make for artists is custom and stays theirs, so here's my own music instead. How I work on yours.

How I got here

I learned all of this the hard way.

Streaming is great and it works, but streaming alone won't give you a living. The systems behind the music are what let me stay creative without my business falling apart.

  1. The startHomeless in LA

I was an artist with no idea how this industry worked, and as someone who isn't American I couldn't even take a job.

  2. 2017Songs for other artists

I started writing songs for artists on Fiverr, and learned the business side one mistake at a time.

  3. Since thenOver $450k from songwriting

Thousands of artists in every genre, and I haven't had a regular job since I was 18.

  4. Along the wayTwo companies

I helped build two companies that set artists up properly, business first.

  5. NowFilm, TV and full time

My music is on Netflix in Love Is Blind. Artists I work with have landed in Ginny & Georgia, Lionsgate trailers, JBL ads and Hallmark, and some now do music full time.

Lucas is brilliant. He understood my needs very well and found the right words to express what I wanted to say in the song, with the musicality to match. I highly recommend Lucas's work and his high level of professionalism!

Some of them mention The FRVR Club, one of the companies I'm part of.

How I work

Business, then brand, then the song.

Always in that order, because each one stands on the one before it.

First

Your business side

Your company, your accounts and every song registered the right way, so money can find your music and you can say yes when someone wants to use it.

Second

Your brand

Who you're talking to, how you sound, how you look and what you'd never do, written down so everyone you work with gets you right the first time.

Third

Your song

Made on top of both, so it sounds like you and fits where it's going, instead of being a guess.

Not ready to buy anything? Take a beat of mine. It's free to use, not exclusive, and it comes with all the stems and the full WAV.

You'll get the beat by email and join my list for new beats and offers. Unsubscribe any time.

Ownership

Everything stays yours.

You pay me for the work and the work is yours. I don't take royalties, points, publishing or a cut of any placement, now or later, and nothing ties you to me once we're done.

Questions

Things people ask.

Who owns what we make?

You do. The song, the recording, every file and every piece of your brand. I don't take royalties, points or publishing, and nothing ties you to me after.

Can you get my music placed?

I can't promise that, and nobody honest can. What I can do is make your music the way music supervisors ask for it and set you up to send it out yourself. The placements on this page are real, and they're not a promise that the same happens for you.

I can't afford one-on-one right now. What can I do?

Start smaller. Root on your own is $49 once and covers the business and brand side on your own. If you need music, a beat, a song or a mix is a fixed price. You can move up later and nothing you did is lost.

Can I buy more than one thing?

Yes. Put what you need in the basket. The second beat is half price.

Do we have to meet in person?

No. Everything works online. Songwriting can be in person if you're nearby, on Zoom, or I write it for you and you don't have to be there at all.

What if I have a question before I decide?

Your call

Two ways this goes.

Keep going on your own

Some artists figure it out that way. It took me years, and most of what I learned I learned by getting it wrong first. If that's your road, I hope the page helped anyway.
